Ad Alliance Germany Names Christian Bachert as New Head of Business Development for Contact+ TV

Ad Alliance Germany has appointed Christian Bachert, 41, as its new Head of Business Development for Contact+ TV. Bachert, who joins from Amazon Online Germany, brings over 15 years of experience in media agencies and broadcasters. He will help steer the transformation of linear television towards a convergent future of moving images.

Bachert's career began in 2007 as a TV planner at Omnicom Media Group. He later served as General Manager Video Consulting at Mediaplus from 2021 to 2024. Before joining Ad Alliance, Bachert worked at Amazon as a Senior Agency Development Manager since June 2022.

In his new role, Bachert will report directly to Chief Sales Officer Michael Dorn. He has held various leadership positions, including Managing Partner Activation TV at OMD Düsseldorf. Bachert's appointment comes after Ad Alliance launched its new CPM-based billing model, Contact+ TV, in March. This model combines classic TV advertising with digital booking logics.

Christian Bachert's extensive experience in media agencies and broadcasters makes him a valuable addition to Ad Alliance Germany. His expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of linear television as it converges with digital platforms. Bachert will work closely with Kai Marwig, the current head of business development for Contact+ TV at Ad Alliance Germany.
