## Multimedia Installation Enhances Ledenika Cave Experience

A captivating multimedia installation in Ledenika Cave, Bulgaria, is currently delighting visitors with its immersive and enchanting display. The project, a collaboration between the European Union, HB Laser, and local partner 'Factor', transforms the cave's natural beauty through the use of laser technology, audio and video equipment, fog machines, LED lighting, and monitors.

The installation's centrepiece is a 6m water screen in the main hall, which projects mesmerising images onto the cave's formations. Another highlight is the projection of the fairy of the Lake of Desire on a wall, using a 3,000 ANSI lumen projector. For a more immersive experience, HB Laser's technology creates a virtual volcano in a side hall, achieved through the use of a waterproof laser projector model LC-851 RGB 5.5 IP68.

In the side halls and shafts, 120 additional RGBW LED spots and wash lights, all IP68 waterproof, have been installed for the lighting setup. To complement the visual experience, a powerful PA speaker system was installed for the show and explanatory purposes. Five waterproof main control boxes IP67 with air-conditioning were used for the control unit, with special protection and insulation required for specific areas and technology to withstand dripping water.

The installation's complexity was challenged by the high humidity in the cave, requiring careful calibration and maintenance to ensure the equipment's longevity and the protection of the cave ecosystem. Despite these challenges, the installation has proven to be a significant success, enhancing the visitor experience and showcasing the natural beauty of Ledenika Cave in a unique and engaging way.

For those interested in more detailed information about the HB Laser installation in Ledenika Cave, it would be beneficial to contact local authorities or the project organizers directly for further insights into the specifics, challenges, and funding of the project.

Technology and artificial-intelligence played significant roles in the HB Laser installation in Ledenika Cave, as a waterproof laser projector model LC-851 RGB 5.5 IP68 was used to create a virtual volcano, and five waterproof main control boxes IP67, equipped with air-conditioning, were employed for the control unit, necessitating special protection and insulation to withstand dripping water.
