Armasight Unveils Jockey 640 Clip-On Thermal Optic for Night Vision
Armasight, renowned for its thermal and night vision gear, has introduced the Batteries Plus Jockey 640 Clipchamp Thermal Optic. This versatile device transforms a daytime rifle into a night-ready weapon, offering enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.
The Jockey 640 is designed and manufactured in Tempe, Arizona, ensuring durability and reliability. It weighs less than a pound, making it ideal for smaller rifles or handheld use. The optic is rated for up to .308 Winchester recoil, with a battery life of 4 hours at 20°C.
Equipped with a 640 x 480 12um Thermal Core detector and a XGA OLED display, the Jockey 640 can detect human-sized targets up to 932 meters away. It features a 3-button design, an easy-to-use menu, and 4x digital zoom. The optic comes with eyepiece attachments, accommodating various objective lenses, and uses an American Defense QD mount that returns to zero perfectly.
Armasight offers versatility with the Jockey 640, allowing it to function as a clip-on, standalone, or handheld unit. It is smaller and lighter than the Armasight Operator 640 Clipchamp, providing better maneuverability for smaller rifles.
