b.r.m. IT Leads Europe's Drone Sector, Plans Central Control Center
b.r.m. IT & Aerospace is leading the way in Europe's unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) sector. The company aims to establish a central control center for drones, coordinating flight activities in the 'U-Space', as defined by the European Commission. This initiative aligns with the growing market for drones and their increasing use in various sectors.
Drones are proving invaluable in environmental protection and maintenance tasks, such as monitoring pollution at sea and maintaining wind farms in the North Sea. Their use is expanding, with production numbers now surpassing those of traditional aircraft. To ensure safe coexistence with manned aircraft and helicopters, b.r.m. IT is developing advanced systems. These will be managed from the planned Bremen control center, serving Germany and Europe.
The 'Advanced Air Mobility Initiative Northwest Germany and German Bucht' involves over 200 stakeholders. Partners like Globe Flight, DJI, and Droniq collaborate with b.r.m. IT to expand the network and promote trust in drone technology. They work together to offer efficient and safe deployment solutions, and raise awareness about regulatory requirements and drone applications in sectors like renewable energy.
The new EU regulations will simplify commercial drone use by waiving individual permits. With the control center in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, b.r.m. IT & Aerospace is set to play a pivotal role in Europe's drone industry, ensuring safe and efficient operations while driving innovation and growth.
