Car Enthusiast Creates Roadworthy Fiat Panda as Wide as a Single Headlight
Car enthusiast Carlo Abarth has created a unique, roadworthy Fiat Panda that's as wide as a single headlight. This unusual vehicle celebrates the outrageousness and impracticality of car culture.
Abarth achieved this by slicing the Panda down the middle and welding the sides back together. The modification also required shortening the steering rack, resizing axles, and repositioning the brake system. The car's power comes from a 24-volt electric motor mounted to one of the rear wheels, with the other rear wheel handling braking duties. Driving this narrow Panda would certainly test one's nerves among larger vehicles.
Carlo Abarth's one-headlight-wide Fiat Panda is a testament to creative modification and a celebration of car culture's quirkier side. Despite its impracticality, the car is roadworthy, showcasing Abarth's engineering prowess.
