A CNN-Breaking News: World's Highest Suspension Bridge Unveiled in Guizhou, China

In late September, the world will witness the unveiling of a remarkable engineering feat – the highest bridge in the world, located over the Huazhou River in the Guizhou province. This grand suspension bridge stands at a height of 625 meters, nearly twice the height of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The bridge, a crucial link between the remote southwestern provinces and the rest of China, boasts an impressive total length of 2890 meters. The central span between its towers reaches a record 1420 meters, making it one of the longest bridges in the world. The construction of this marvel took less than four years, a testament to the ingenuity and determination of the engineers involved.

The bridge is not just a transportation hub but also a major world news attraction. Visitors can access the bridge via a glass elevator, which transports them 145 meters above the road surface, offering breathtaking views. Panoramic observation decks and glass-floored halls provide ample opportunities for sightseers to take in the stunning vistas.

For the more adventurous, bungee jumps on the bridge could potentially become the highest in the world. A restaurant on the bridge provides a unique dining experience, while a stargazing area invites visitors to appreciate the night sky from a truly unique perspective.

The Luzhou-Anshun expressway, of which the bridge is a part, was also completed in less than four years. However, the record-breaking bridge project in Guizhou faced more complex geological conditions, challenging terrain, and technical difficulties due to its ambitious and innovative design.

The tourist facilities will open in phases, allowing visitors to gradually explore and appreciate this engineering marvel. Whether you're a thrill-seeker, a food lover, or a nature enthusiast, the new Guizhou bridge promises an unforgettable experience.
