Cottbus Traffic Congestion Relief: Two Major Projects Complete

Cottbus residents can expect some relief from traffic congestion starting this Friday. Two major construction projects on the railway power supply, which have been causing delays on Wundtstraße heading into the city, are set to conclude. Meanwhile, another construction site on Primavesistraße remains closed, and one at Leutzscher Allee/Zöllnerweg intersection is reopening.

The city of Cottbus has been undergoing significant railway line expansion, with two key projects focusing on improving the railway power supply. These projects, located between Lübbenau and Cottbus, have temporarily disrupted traffic flow on Wundtstraße, particularly at the Richard-Lehmann-Straße intersection. However, with the completion of these projects, traffic jams in this area are expected to dissipate from Friday onwards.

In other construction news, the site on Primavesistraße continues to be active, with the road remaining closed to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes. On a positive note, the construction site at Leutzscher Allee/Zöllnerweg intersection will reopen this Friday, allowing traffic to flow more smoothly in this area once again.

The completion of the two construction projects on the railway power supply is expected to alleviate traffic congestion on Wundtstraße heading into Cottbus. Meanwhile, the closure of the Primavesistraße construction site continues, and the reopening of the Leutzscher Allee/Zöllnerweg intersection site is imminent. Motorists are urged to stay informed about these changes and adjust their routes accordingly.
