Dacia Duster Cargo: The Practical SUV-Style Light Commercial Vehicle

Dacia introduces the Duster Cargo, a versatile light commercial vehicle based on the popular Duster SUV. Starting at £22,995 (ex-VAT), it combines practicality and SUV styling, offering a sturdy mesh bulkhead, lashing points, and rubber mats for cargo protection. The rear seats are replaced by a flat wooden floor for increased cargo space.

The Duster Cargo boasts an impressive 1,149 litres of cargo space and can carry up to 430 kg of payload. It features a hybrid 155 powertrain offering electric and petrol engine options, along with a mild hybrid 130 powertrain with 4x4 capability. For £23,595, the hybrid version provides enhanced efficiency.

With 217 mm of ground clearance, terrain control modes, and hill descent control, the Duster Cargo maintains the SUV's off-road capabilities. The vehicle is produced with a factory conversion to a commercial N1 vehicle, preserving warranty and quality standards under the Renault Group's Dacia brand. It competes with the Ford Transit Connect and VW Caddy in terms of pricing and versatility.

The Dacia Duster Cargo offers a practical and appealing solution for commercial users seeking an SUV-styled light commercial vehicle. With its robust features, efficient powertrains, and competitive pricing, it stands out in its segment, challenging established rivals like the Ford Transit Connect and VW Caddy.
