General Motors Opens State-of-the-Art Car Design Studio in Leamington Spa
General Motors has established a new advanced car design studio on Ashbourne Drive, Leamington Spa, England. The modern industrial building, spanning 25,000 square feet, is designed for maximum interior flexibility and creativity.
The ground floor of the studio houses a covered working area that can accommodate approximately 30 people. The interiors are sparsely but expensively furnished to create a warm, homely atmosphere. The mezzanine floors at the front and rear provide ample space for offices and meeting rooms. Despite its industrial origins, the studio's design is far from typical of a British industrial estate, as it lacks shabby factories, Portakabins, and cars parked on footpaths.
The studio's location, on the outskirts of Leamington Spa, might not be immediately associated with an imposing design studio. However, this secluded setting offers the perfect environment for the studio to focus on its innovative designs, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
