Digital Bridge 2025: A Generative Nation Embraces Artificial Intelligence
From October 2-4, Astana, Kazakhstan will play host to Digital Bridge 2025, a significant technological event in the Eurasian region. This year's theme, "Generative Nation", reflects Kazakhstan's strategic shift towards technology creation and scaling in international markets.
The forum will be a hub of activities, including the Generative Nation Pitch, a competition platform open to schoolchildren, university students, startups with MVPs, and research/scientific teams. The competition aims to advance Kazakhstan’s strategic goal to shift from technology consumption to creation and scaling solutions with global potential, focusing on artificial intelligence and digital innovation.
The Generative Nation Pitch competition evaluates projects based on originality, ethical factors, AI utilization, scalability potential, team competence, presentation quality, and a three-stage evaluation process involving expert selection, automated AI analysis, and final jury assessment.
The competition is part of a broader program, AI Week (Sept 29 - Oct 4), which precedes the forum events. AI Week aims to involve students, young scientists, and startups in shaping Kazakhstan's AI ecosystem and nurturing the next generation of technology leaders. The week features masterclasses, workshops, and tech meetups, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and skill development.
In addition to the Generative Nation Pitch, Digital Bridge 2025 will also host the Astana Hub Battle startup competition, the Digital Bridge Awards, and a cultural program. The Astana Hub Battle will feature over 100 startups from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and other countries, battling it out for the top spot. The Digital Bridge Awards will recognize outstanding contributions to Kazakhstan's IT industry in eight categories, with the ceremony taking place at Digital Bridge 2025.
The forum will also feature a Startup Alley tech exhibition, showcasing innovative solutions in fintech, EdTech, GovTech, Big Data, AR/VR, sustainable development, eco-technologies, and cybersecurity from local and international innovators. An exhibition at Startup Alley will showcase achievements by leading IT companies.
Global AI leaders will give speeches at Digital Bridge 2025, sharing their insights and experiences in the field of artificial intelligence. The Astana Hub Battle semi-final will take place on Oct. 3, followed by the final on Oct. 4, where the top 10 projects will present on the main stage.
