Electric Vehicle Accolades at the 2024 L.A. Auto Show and Plug In America Event: Winners Announced
The Los Angeles Auto Show and Plug In America are set to honour the leaders of the electric vehicle (EV) transition at the 2024 Drive Electric Awards. This prestigious event will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at AutoMobility LATM, a platform where the top minds in automotive, technology, design, and policy come together to drive the industry forward.
The nominees for the Drive Electric Awards were selected by a committee of Plug In America's staff and board members, along with previous winners, from a pool of nominations submitted by the public earlier this year. The nominee pool was incredibly strong and diverse this year, reflecting the growing interest and commitment to the EV transition.
The awardees have demonstrated leadership, perseverance, and commitment to the EV transition. The 2024 Drive Electric Award recipients include Jennifer M. Granholm (Linda Nicholes Lifetime Achievement Award), Robert Blake (Advocate Award), Schenectady, New York (EV City Award), Isles (Organization Award), Redwood Materials (Organization Award), Elected Officials Protecting America (EOPA) and the city of San Antonio's EVSA Ambassador Program (EV Awareness Award), ComEd (Utility Award), Vivian Rahwanji (Individual Award), Caroline Nellis (City Captain Award), and Diya Kandhra (Student Award).
