Elon MuskAnnounces Plans for Swift Safety Enhancements in Air Traffic Management for DOGE

Dope crew, led by Elon Musk's DOGE squad, has been wreaking havoc on federal agencies this week, slicing into departments like OPM, USAID, and the U.S. Treasury. Now, it seems like the FAA is next on their hit list. And if you're thinking about booking a flight anytime soon, you might want to reconsider.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy dropped a bombshell on Twitter on Wednesday, announcing, "Big News – Talked to the DOGE team. They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system."

Elon Musk confirmed the news, adding even more fuel to the fire with a series of wildly unexpected words, "With the support of President @realDonaldTrump, the @DOGE team will aim to make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system."

Say what now? Rapid safety upgrades? That's not your average phrase combo. But Musk and his crew are no strangers to conventional thinking. They've been known to forge ahead with little regard for the consequences, much like a bull in a china shop.

Hillary Clinton, never one to shy away from controversy, hopped into the debate, writing, "They have no relevant experience. Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car. And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?"

She was likely referring to the devastating midair collision in Washington, DC, last week, and the small plane crash near Philadelphia that claimed seven lives. But Duffy, a reality TV star with little transport experience, wasn't backing down. He hit back at Clinton, writing, "Madam Secretary, with all due respect, ‘experienced’ Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation's infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out."

Musk's crew has a plan for the FAA, but the details are still hazy. What we do know is that they're taking on a massive task, and experts are warning that it's both illegal and could have devastating consequences for generations to come. Musk has already buried himself deep into the U.S. Treasury's payments system and is working on pushing out as many federal workers as possible by unilaterally dismantling entire agencies.

David Super, a law professor at Georgetown Law School, told the Washington Post this week, "So many of these things are so wildly illegal that I think they’re playing a quantity game and assuming the system can’t react to all this illegality at once."

Efforts to hold Musk accountable have been fruitless so far. The U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted to subpoena Musk, but the vote failed by just one vote. Democrats are talking tougher, but they haven't taken the most drastic steps yet, like objecting to unanimous consent, a move that would grind the Senate to a halt.

But the country can't afford to sit idly by while a billionaire oligarch chops it up. The damage thus far has been substantial, and it's only going to get worse if something isn't done soon. Here's hoping the Democrats get their act together and put a stop to this madness before it's too late.

The technology-driven DOGE team, as confirmed by Elon Musk, aims to leverage tech and innovation to make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system, signaling a significant shift in aviation regulation.

Given the team's ambitious plans, legal experts like David Super have expressed concerns, warning that some of their actions might be illegally pushing the boundaries and potentially harmful for future generations.
