================================================================================

Emonee LaRussa, a renowned figure in the motion graphics industry, hails from Sacramento, California. With a Bachelor's degree in Digital Film Making and Video Production, she was hired by CBS News Station a week before graduation, marking the start of her successful career.

LaRussa's work has graced projects for artists such as Lil Nas X, Schoolboy Q, Tyga, Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, FKA Twigs, and Skrillex. One of her most celebrated creations is the music video for "Ego Death," a collaborative effort with Ty Dolla $ign, Kanye West, FKA Twigs, and Skrillex, which she is particularly proud of.

In the early stages of her projects, LaRussa relies heavily on storyboards, treatments, and animatics. Her artistic process is driven by inspiration she finds on platforms like Instagram and Reddit. If given the opportunity, she would love to collaborate with Pendleton Ward, the creator of her favourite TV show, Adventure Time.

LaRussa's favourite movie is Across the Universe, a film that has likely influenced her unique blend of digital art and cultural storytelling. She advises her younger self to stay focused, seek inspiration everywhere, love herself, and keep a journal.

In her personal life, LaRussa turns to meditation, self-talk, and therapy to find relief from creative burnout. A keyboard shortcut she cannot live without is CMD+Z, a staple in any digital artist's arsenal.

LaRussa's preferred Boris FX plugins include Mocha and Continuum. Beyond her professional achievements, she is also committed to promoting equity in digital art through her nonprofit organisation, Jumpstart Designers.
