One of the key features of the improved mobile network is the support for Advanced Mobile Location (AML) and the warning system Cell Broadcast. AML automatically transmits the caller's location to the emergency control center during emergency calls to 112, ensuring prompt and accurate assistance. Cell Broadcast, on the other hand, sends danger messages to mobile phones in the affected radio cell, alerting people about emergencies such as major fires, gas explosions, or floods.
Telekom's efforts to expand its mobile network in Kreis Unna have resulted in a significant increase in mobile internet coverage. The supply of households with fast mobile connectivity has nearly doubled, ensuring that more people can stay connected and informed.
