Tot Secures €11 Million in Pre-Series A Funding, Bolstering its Position as a Leading Italian Fintech
Tot, an innovative fintech company based in Italy, has announced the closure of a €7 million Pre-Series A funding round, bringing its total capital raised to €11 million across seed and pre-Series A phases. The funding round was led by CDP Venture Capital SGR, one of Italy's most prominent venture capital firms, with co-investors including Azimut Group, X-Equity Venture Club S.r.l., Club Deal Digital, Chapeau Media, a group of entrepreneurs, and top managers.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate Tot's platform development, with investments being made in technology & AI integration, talent acquisition, and the introduction of new features such as business card management, subscription handling, and team expense tracking. Existing investors The Techshop (lead in the Seed round) and Banca Sella (supporter since the Pre-Seed stage) also reaffirmed their commitment.
Doris Messina, Co-Founder & CEO of Tot, stated that the funding will further strengthen their mission to support Italian businesses with cutting-edge financial tools. In 2024, Tot handled transaction volumes exceeding €1 billion, with expectations to exceed €2 billion in 2025.
