Epson Introduces Its First RGB LED Portable Projectors Equipped with Sound by Bose and Google TV Technology
Epson, a leading name in the tech industry, has unveiled its latest offering - the Lifestudio Family. This new line-up consists of six models across two series: the Flex and Pop collections.
The Lifestudio range is designed to cater to various needs and budgets, with prices ranging from £650 to £2,699.99. The entry-level EF-61 models, available in Diamond White, Smoke Ice Green, or Rose Quartz colours, offer Full HD resolution and are priced at £650. The more affordable EF-71 model, priced at £880, delivers 700 lumens of brightness with Full HD resolution.
For those seeking a more compact option, the Lifestudio Pop series offers models like the EF-62B/N, priced at £800, which delivers 700 lumens of brightness. These models are available in Metallic Black or Metallic Navy finishes.
The flagship models of the Flex series, the EF-72 and EF-71, are equipped with adjustable stands offering tilt and swivel capabilities. The EF-72, priced at £1,150, delivers 1000 lumens of brightness with 4K Pro-UHD resolution and features ambient touch LED lighting.
All models in the Lifestudio range utilise Epson's 3LCD technology powered by the company's Triple Core Engine, which it claims produces images up to three times brighter than comparable single-chip DLP projectors. The range also supports HDR10 for enhanced picture quality and Dolby Audio for immersive sound.
In terms of connectivity, the Lifestudio range includes Bluetooth, USB-C (in the premium EF-72 model), and Google Cast functionality. It also provides access to major streaming platforms and content services through Google TV.
Two optional accessories are offered for the Lifestudio range: an adjustable floor stand (ELPFS01) and a wireless karaoke microphone (ELPKM01). The adjustable floor stand is compatible with the Flex series models only.
Personalised profiles offer curated recommendations based on viewing preferences in the Lifestudio range. All models in the Lifestudio range support ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) for smoother gameplay experiences. The range also supports HDR10 for enhanced picture quality.
Both Flex models can project images up to 150 inches in size and include intelligent instant set-up with automatic focus, keystone correction, and obstacle avoidance technologies.
All Lifestudio projectors come with a five-year warranty and are available now through Epson's retail partners. However, no US or Australian pricing information has been revealed at this time.
The Lifestudio range is set to redefine the portable projector market with its blend of style, technology, and versatility. Whether you're a gaming enthusiast, a movie buff, or simply looking for a projector for presentations, the Lifestudio range has something for everyone.
