In a recent Nintendo Direct announcement, the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership has been updated, offering a diverse array of classic games and exciting new content for players to enjoy.

One of the most anticipated additions to the collection is the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. In this unique game, players will find themselves interacting with other Pokémon in a strange world, embarking on rescue missions in a world affected by natural disasters, and uncovering the mystery of their true purpose and destiny in the Pokémon world.

The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership requires a paid subscription, which auto-renews after the initial term unless cancelled. To access certain online features on the app, players will need persistent Internet, a compatible smartphone, and a Nintendo Account age 13+. Data charges may apply when using the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app.

For those interested in membership plans, more information can be found on Nintendo's website. It's important to note that the Nintendo Account User Agreement, including the Purchase and Subscription terms, apply to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

In addition to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, the collection now includes a variety of classic games, such as Densetsu no Starfy, Fire Emblem, F-Zero Climax, Golden Sun, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Metroid Fusion, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Four Swords, and many more. The games include titles originally released on Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, SEGA Genesis, Game Boy, Super NES, and NES.

The Nintendo Switch Online membership is a prerequisite for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, which grants access to the Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Switch Online collection of games, as well as select DLC for games like Animal CrossingTM: New Horizons - Happy Home Paradise, Mario KartTM 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass, and SplatoonTM 2: Octo Expansion.

Please note that the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership is not available in all countries. For a full list of games included in the updated collection, visit Nintendo's official website. The games became available on February 8, 2023.
