Free E-bike/Pedelec Training Sessions in Wesel this October
The Wesel District Police Authority (Kreispolizeibehörde Wesel) is hosting free E-bike/Pedelec training sessions this October. The sessions, lasting around three hours, combine theory, simulator tests, and practical riding. Participants can also get their Pedelecs police-coded. Registration is required.
The training sessions, held during the autumn holidays, take place at various schools across Wesel and surrounding areas. On Monday, October 13, the Willi-Fährmann-Gesamtschule in Xanten hosts the event. The following week, on Wednesday, October 15, the Adolf-Reichwein Grundschule in Moers is the venue. Other sessions occur in Alpen, Wesel, Schermbeck, Hamminkeln, and Dinslaken on various dates.
The sessions, led by police staff or affiliated trainers, cover theoretical instruction, reaction tests on a Pedelec simulator, and practical riding training using participants' own Pedelecs. Additionally, participants can have their Pedelecs police-coded by bringing their ID and purchase documents or bicycle passport.
The E-bike/Pedelec trainings in October 2025 provide a great opportunity for enthusiasts to enhance their skills and ensure their vehicles are legally compliant. With sessions spread across the region, there's a convenient option for most. Don't forget to register in advance.
