French Cybersecurity Unicorn Filigran Raises $58M for Real-Time GRC Platform
French cybersecurity startup Filigran has secured $58m in a Series C funding round, led by Eurazeo with participation from Deutsche Telekom and existing investors Accel and Insight Partners. This brings the total raised by the company to over $100m since its inception three years ago.
Filigran's client base includes prominent organizations such as the FBI and the European Commission. The company's latest funding round will support the development of OpenGRC, a platform designed to help medium-sized companies and large enterprises optimize their governance, risk, and compliance management in real-time. The funding will also facilitate the development of an AI agent platform.
Filigran has previously developed OpenCTI, an open source cyber threat platform, and OpenBAS, a tool for simulating real-life cyber attack scenarios. The company aims to make threat intelligence accessible and actionable for all organizations worldwide, with its tools currently in use by over 6,000 public and private organizations globally.
With the latest funding, Filigran plans to expand its reach into the Pacific and Middle East regions, while further strengthening its presence in the US and Europe. The company's commitment to accessible and actionable threat intelligence is reflected in its growing client base and the support of prominent investors.
