AI-powered startup Kiku secures €4M in seed funding, aiming to revolutionize frontline recruitment using advanced technology.

Frontline hiring practices are set to undergo a significant transformation, thanks to Kiku's successful €4 million seed funding round, which will be utilized to further develop AI technology.

The AI-powered recruitment platform Kiku has announced a €4 million seed funding round, led by Cherry Ventures, with additional backing from Yellow, the VC fund co-founded by Glovo founder Oscar Pierre. This investment will be used to accelerate product development, expand the team, launch in key European markets, and build a frontline-focused brand.

Founded by Eric André (CEO) and Rasmus Andersen (CTO), Kiku aims to fill roles in days, not weeks, by bringing automation to every stage of the recruitment process. The platform is specifically designed for high-volume frontline hiring, which often involves deskless workers who primarily use mobile devices.

At the heart of Kiku is its conversational AI named "Sara," which can conduct thousands of structured interviews weekly. Candidates interact with Sara through natural two-way conversations, without relying on forms or pre-recorded videos, making for a mobile-first experience where candidates can ask questions and progress quickly if there's mutual interest.

Kiku's system assesses applicants solely on their merit, eliminating bias related to gender, name, age, or ethnicity, thus promoting fairer hiring practices. The platform also supports over 100 languages, ensuring a consistent interview experience regardless of language.

Companies using Kiku report faster decision-making, stronger talent pipelines, and high candidate satisfaction (93%). Kiku enables scaling high-quality hires without increasing recruiter headcount or compromising candidate experience.

Sophia Bendz, Partner at Cherry Ventures, believes Kiku will define the category for AI in frontline recruitment. She stated, "Kiku is redefining hiring at scale, focusing on better outcomes for companies and candidates."

Kiku integrates smoothly with existing ATS systems or functions as a powerful standalone solution. The platform is set to revolutionize how traditionally challenging-to-hire workforces are recruited, offering an AI-powered, conversational, unbiased, mobile-centric approach that streamlines and democratizes high-volume hiring for mobile-first, deskless workers.

In a rapidly changing market with Gen Z expectations and diverse languages, traditional hiring platforms often fall short. Kiku, with its innovative approach, is poised to meet these challenges head-on, redefining frontline and deskless hiring to turn scale into an advantage.

  1. Leveraging artificial-intelligence, Kiku's innovative approach to frontline recruitment could potentially revolutionize the business sector by streamlining high-volume hiring for workers who primarily use mobile devices, ultimately benefiting from faster decision-making, stronger talent pipelines, and high candidate satisfaction.
  2. In light of the increasing influence of technology in modern business, Kiku, an AI-powered recruitment platform, secured a €4 million investment from Cherry Ventures to further develop its technology, expand its team, and launch in key European markets, aiming to fill roles in days instead of weeks, thereby promoting fairer hiring practices and investing in the future of frontline and deskless workforces.
