Gaming company, Valicy, set to make its first appearance at G2E event
Valicy Gaming Unveiled at Global Gaming Expo
Valicy Gaming, a new player in the land-based gaming industry, has been unveiled by its CEO, Garrett Blackwelder, during the company launch party in Greenville, North Carolina. The public debut of Valicy Gaming will take place at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas from October 6-9, with the Venetian Expo serving as the location for the event (Booth 1623).
Blackwelder, the former CEO and founder of Grover Gaming, has launched this new brand with a focus on becoming a major manufacturer in land-based gaming across North America. The company retains most of the employees from the acquisition of Grover Gaming, and employs a veteran team that will focus on game development and hardware design.
The values that will drive Valicy Gaming are deeply rooted in its culture, represented by the CARE triangle - People, Company, and Work. As the company grows, it will continue to prioritise relationships, excellence, and innovation. A contingent cash consideration of up to $200 million is on the table, subject to the achievement of certain financial targets through 2028.
Blackwelder expressed his excitement about the opportunity for his teams to do big things in new markets. He emphasised that as Valicy Gaming grows, these values will remain central to its mission moving forward.

Interestingly, Valicy Gaming is named after Blackwelder's daughter, combining her names to form the new brand. Grover Gaming was previously sold to Light & Wonder for a consideration of $1.05 billion, with $850 million paid in cash upon closing of the transaction and subject to customary purchase price adjustments.
The Global Gaming Expo, where Valicy Gaming will make its public debut, is one of the world's largest and most influential gaming trade shows. Attendees can expect to see the latest in gaming technology, game development, and hardware design from Valicy Gaming, as well as a glimpse into the exciting future of land-based gaming.
