Munich to Host Significant Innovation Festival, "Festival of the Future"
In July 2025, Munich will play host to the Festival of the Future, a major platform for technological innovation, transformation, and collaboration within the German-speaking region. The four-day event, scheduled to take place from July 3rd to 6th, will bring together leading figures from technology, research, business, and the creative industry to develop sustainable solutions for a better future.
The event's theme, "Growing Up," reflects the need for collaboration and joint thinking to address the challenges of the future. One of the highlights of the festival will be an exclusive meet-up by Munich-based FUTURES BEING MADE GmbH. Founded by Angela Kesselring (Gen X) and Michaela Stauch (Gen Y), the company specializes in the development and implementation of sustainable stakeholder ecosystems.
Under the title "Growing Up Together - Stakeholder Ecosystems as the Key to New Business Fields," Kesselring and Stauch will host an interactive 60-minute future format on the opening day, July 3rd. This platform aims to connect economic ambition with social responsibility, providing opportunities for decision-makers, innovators, and strategic networkers to learn, collaborate, and form new partnerships.
Ten years after the founding of the economic magazine SZ PLAN W – Women Transforming Economy, FUTURES BEING MADE brings together pioneers from the early days. Dr. Alexandra Borchardt, the founding editor-in-chief at the time and now an internationally sought-after expert on media change through AI and societal innovation, will serve as the guest of honor.
The meet-up, open to all festival visitors, focuses on knowledge transfer, inspiration, co-creation, and strategic exchange. Participants will develop the basis for their Stakeholder Impact Map, focusing on their future fields and new forms of collaboration.
