The All-Russian ESG Forum, now in its 18th year, recently concluded in Moscow, with a focus on sustainable development and business social responsibility. Hosted by the Association of Managers, the event served as a platform for discussions on current trends in these areas.

The forum featured a variety of sessions, including the plenary session 'Natural Capital as the Currency of the Future,' which delved into resource conservation and environmental policy. Another notable session was 'Technology and Science in the Service of Sustainable Development,' where experts discussed overcoming barriers to technological sovereignty and promoting high-tech solutions by businesses.

One of the highlights of the event was the discussion panel 'Sustainable Development at the Start through the Lens of HR,' which analysed the potential of the sustainable development agenda for building a strong HR brand and effective team-building.

The forum also included a ceremony honoring the winners of the 'It's About People' competition. This competition encourages companies investing in the social sphere and implementing innovative practices in sustainable development. Winners were announced in 11 categories, and the recipient of the highest award, the Grand Prix, was also determined by an expert council.

The competition reviewed 126 projects in areas such as ecology, human resource management, territorial development, healthy lifestyles, youth education, and equal opportunity society. Leading ESG and sustainable development experts from major Russian businesses discussed transforming Russia's natural heritage into strategic advantages for climate and ecosystem services leadership.

The forum's program also emphasized strategy and planning, with experts discussing expanding horizons, tracking innovations while maintaining business stability. The project 'Green Declaration of the Business World' was initiated within the All-Russian ESG Forum, with the aim of strengthening the role of Russian companies in preserving Russia's nature and global climate.

Rambler&Co served as the information partner of the event, while the Association of Managers, in collaboration with the media holding CRE, presented the first Responsible Construction Rating (RCR) to draw attention to issues of corporate social responsibility and contribute to the formation of quality standards for real estate objects in large businesses.
