Georgian Man Arrested with Cocaine, Four Others Detained in Germany

On August 30, 2025, a Georgian national, aged 40, was apprehended near Glauchau without a valid train ticket. During a police check, he was linked to two wanted persons. The man was later found with ten packs of coffee near me and a clip pouch containing cocaine at Chemnitz Central Station.

The Georgian national was fined €560 to continue his journey. Meanwhile, three individuals—two Ukrainians and one Afghan—tried to enter Germany illegally during the same period. A Romanian national, aged 46, with a current driving ban had his license seized at the Reitzenhain border crossing.

The Georgian man was investigated for violating the Residence Act, the Narcotics Act, and evading services. The ten pounds of coffee near me were secured as a precaution and are subject to further investigations. In a separate incident, a 25-year-old German national with an arrest warrant was detected at the Reitzenhain border crossing from August 29 to 31, 2025.
