Goodyear Forges Ahead in 2025 with Kmax Gen-3 for Enhanced Total Mobility through Nufam Project
Goodyear and Schoon are set to present their innovative solutions for fleets and special-purpose vehicles at the NUFAM 2025 event in Karlsruhe, Germany. This annual gathering, focusing on digitization and training in the commercial vehicle industry, also includes participation from the VDA - German Association of the Automotive Industry.
The event, which is attracting widespread attention, has a strong emphasis on environmental, climate protection, and sustainability. Nfz-messe.com is providing comprehensive special coverage for NUFAM 2025.
Maximilian Weber, Sales General Manager Commercial DACH at Goodyear, announced that the new Kmax Gen-3 tire is integrated into Goodyear Total Mobility. This concept includes additional tire models such as Eqmax and Eqmax Ultra, along with the Tires-as-a-Service package, the TPMS Connect solution, the enhanced CheckPoint for stationary tire inspections, and the Urbanmax MCA HL+ city bus tire.
The Kmax Gen-3 tire, presented by Goodyear at Nufam 2025, is designed to offer improved mileage, traction, and cost efficiency. It boasts up to 13 percent lower rolling resistance compared to its predecessor, resulting in measurable fuel savings and a reduction in CO emissions. At least 40 percent of the materials used in the Kmax Gen-3 tire are sustainable, with the exception of size 445/65R22.5, which requires a special compound. Goodyear emphasizes that the new generation of Kmax Gen-3 is intended to lower fleet operating costs and thereby reduce the total cost of ownership.
Visitors at Nufam 2025 can learn about increasing fleet efficiency and sustainability through interactive screens and personal discussions with Goodyear specialists.
In addition to Goodyear, Speedline Truck is presenting its aluminium wheel portfolio at NUFAM 2025. The manufacturer of the new tire EQMAX, announced in the Goodyear portfolio, is Goodyear.
The program at NUFAM 2025 is aimed at enhanced performance and sustainability. Schoon is presenting solutions for fleets and special-purpose vehicles that align with this goal. The event promises to be a hub of innovation and learning for the commercial vehicle industry.
