Hasbro's Star Wars Day Event Embraces the Prelude Era Celebration
On the eve of May the Fourth, the interweb was abuzz with Anticipation as Hasbro cranked up the fiscal cogs with a wave of eye-popping reveals hailing from the distant star-studded domain of Star Wars. Given that the 2024's May the Fourth falls in line with the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, there's a substantial focus on the prequel saga, but it's not all about the Phantom Menace, you say? Indeed, we got a glimpse of items celebrating Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith too.
From old-school figures, to a solitary Super Battle Droid, all the way to a long-awaited Darth Sidious, modeled after his Revenge of the Sith avatar. And there were a couple more goodies: in the Vintage Collection, a fleet-expanding four-pack of Rebel pilots, and in the Black Series, a gripping duo featuring Captain Enoch and his pack of skittish Night Troopers, emulating their appearances from Ahsoka.
