Digital Operator life:) Expands 4G Network Solutions Across Belarus

Life:), the digital operator in Belarus, has significantly expanded its 4G network solutions, adding a total of 185 base stations across the country from mid-August to September 18, 2025.

In the Mogilev region, 9 base stations became available, while in the Minsk region, 91 base stations were added. The expansion continued in the Gomel, Grodno, Brest, and Vitebsk regions, with 13, 9, 17, and 46 base stations respectively becoming operational.

This expansion has resulted in over 200 settlements in all regions of the country now enjoying improved LTE connectivity. The operator has been focusing on network improvement as a top priority, ensuring that users can always stay connected at any time and in any place.

The 4G stations operate in the frequency bands 800/1800/2600 MHz. The 800 MHz frequency ensures wide geographical coverage and signal stability, while the 2600 MHz frequency is used on busy sections and supports high data transmission speeds. The 1800 MHz frequency, on the other hand, ensures good internet speed and coverage of large settlements.

This network solutions expansion was particularly beneficial during popular festivals such as Festiwow at Dynamo Stadium, Wostrau Nesvizh Fest in Nesvizh, "Winline Picnic 2025" near Lida Castle, and "Afghan Sky" at the "Line of Stalin" historical and cultural complex in August. Mobile base stations were also deployed to expand network capacity during the Minsk City Day celebrations and the Lidbeer festival in Lida in early September.

The mobile connection at these festivals and concerts in Belarus was supported by the local mobile network operators, and the network capacities were expanded most recently in 2023 to accommodate the increased demand during such large events.

While no new information about the number of 4G users among life:) subscribers was provided, it is clear that the number continues to grow as the operator continues to ensure a reliable and high-quality network for its customers.
