In the dynamic world of streaming entertainment, Türkiye's market has seen a significant shake-up during the second quarter of 2025.

Max, a streaming service created by Warner Bros. Discovery, has claimed the top spot in the country's streaming market. The CEO of Max, Hannes Heyelmann, who also serves as the Executive Vice President and General Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, oversees streaming and related businesses. Max was designed to provide local strategies for growth and efficiency in streaming, combining content from Warner Bros. Discovery and other partners to meet the market demand.

The consolidation of the BluTV brand under the Max umbrella has given Max a stronger market presence, allowing it to capture a 28% share of the Türkiye streaming market. This puts Max ahead of competitors such as Netflix, which has dropped to second place with a 24% share.

Prime Video continues to compete in Türkiye's streaming market with a 19% share, while Disney+ experienced a decline, falling to 13%. MUBI maintains a steady 7% share in the market.
