Inventive company Inveniam and Rialto to initiate a blockchain-based derivatives trading platform

Inveniam Capital Partners and Rialto Markets have joined forces to build a groundbreaking blockchain-powered derivatives exchange for private market assets. This collaboration positions both firms at the forefront of blockchain-enabled financial innovation.

The strategic partnership, announced in 2023, was approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The exchange, designed to ensure verifiable, auditable, and AI-driven analytics for all transactions, aims to bring speed, trust, and transparency to private markets traditionally associated with public securities.

Inveniam's decentralized data orchestration technology will merge with Rialto's regulated trading infrastructure to reshape how private assets are traded at scale. By embedding decentralized, authenticated data into each trade, the platform could address historical liquidity challenges in private assets, reducing fragmentation and improving operational efficiency.

The forthcoming exchange offers institutional investors tools for systematic trading, risk hedging, and tailored exposure strategies in private assets. It opens new opportunities for institutional investors to access structured products such as swaps, futures, and other derivatives backed by tokenized private assets.

The partnership seeks to give institutional investors new liquidity channels and enhanced confidence in private markets, which is valued at more than $100 trillion. The blockchain-based derivatives platform aims to address long-standing barriers around liquidity, transparency, and risk management in this market.

Beyond derivatives, the exchange opens opportunities for the firms to expand into decentralized data marketplaces and AI-powered trading solutions for private markets. The system's key features include support for futures, swaps, and other derivatives linked to tokenized private assets.

The joint venture is a significant milestone for the integration of blockchain and AI in institutional finance. It's expected to transform how capital flows into alternative assets and set a new standard for trading in a multi-trillion-dollar market. The platform aims to deliver the accessibility, compliance, and transparency demanded by global markets.

In addition, Inveniam has acquired a 20% stake in Rialto Markets, one of nine SEC-registered Digital Alternative Trading Systems (ATS) and a FINRA-regulated broker-dealer. This partnership is structured to ensure that the exchange will provide the necessary infrastructure to facilitate compliant and transparent trades.

The collaboration extends beyond building an exchange, aiming to establish the technological foundation for how private assets will operate in the era of blockchain and artificial intelligence. This initiative is expected to redefine the landscape of private asset trading, making it as efficient and trustworthy as public securities markets.
