Buick Unveils Stylish Concept Vehicle at Beijing Auto Show
Buick, a renowned automobile brand, has made a splash at the Beijing Auto Show with the unveiling of the Buick GL8 'Business Concept'. This concept vehicle, designed by the GM China design studio, is not a production model but a precursor to the final production GL8 model.
The Buick GL8 'Business Concept' boasts a striking design, with dimensions of 5278mm in length, 1985mm in width, and 1809mm in height. The vehicle also features a wheelbase of 3198mm.
While the Buick GL8 'Business Concept' is on display at the auto show, it is important to note that it is a separate vehicle from the new Buick GL8, a plug-in hybrid MPV currently being developed by SAIC-GM. The new GL8 is the industry's first plug-in hybrid MPV with a 5C battery, according to SAIC-GM.
In addition to the new GL8, Buick also introduced the Buick Electra E5, an electric SUV with a range of 620 km and starting at 23,600 USD in China. The Buick Electra L7 EREV, another electric vehicle from Buick, offers a comprehensive range of 1,400km and accelerates from 0 to 100 in 5.9 seconds.
The information provided is from Buick China, and it seems that the Buick GL8 'Business Concept' is likely a glimpse into the future of Buick's design and technology. However, it should be noted that the concept vehicle has not yet been completed.
The Beijing Auto Show, where these exciting new vehicles were showcased, was held in 2010. With these new developments, it appears that Buick is poised to continue its legacy of innovation and style in the automotive industry.
