Apple Set to Unveil the Next-Generation iPhone SE on February 19, 2025

Apple has announced that it will unveil a new product on February 19, 2025, and it's almost certainly the next-generation iPhone SE. This event marks Apple's first product reveal of the year.

The iPhone SE has been a part of Apple's iPhone family since 2016, offering a budget-conscious, mid-range option for iPhone users. The upcoming iPhone SE, often referred to as the iPhone SE 4, is expected or rumored for an early 2025 launch.

In contrast, the iPhone 16E, which was released earlier in 2025, is unlikely to be the focus of the February event. The iPhone 16E is rumored to have an OLED display, 8GB of RAM, and a price point of up to $499. It is also speculated to have an action button and could potentially come in white, with additional colours yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, the MacBook Air M4, which has already been released, is not expected for this event. As for the new HomePod or a smart home hub, there is no strong indication that they will be launched on February 19, 2025; rumors about a smart home hub are more tentative and expected possibly in the first half of 2026.

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, posted on social media last week to generate hype for the event. His post read: "Get ready to meet the newest member of the family." This has sparked speculation that the product in question could potentially be something other than the iPhone SE 4, such as a new HomePod device or the MacBook Air M4.

The iPhone 16E, if released, would provide a more consistent, budget-conscious, mid-range release for iPhone users, following the annual iPhone releases. If true, the iPhone 16E rebrand would effectively retire the SE line of smartphones.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the February 19, 2025, event!
