ISE 2025 is a wrap, and it was a wild ride! From the insanely impressive display of over 1600 exhibitors to the thought-provoking panel discussions, this year's event left us speechless. We managed to sneak a peek at some of the hottest new tech in AV, and here's a lowdown on what went down at Christie's stand.

Projection's Here to Stay, Baby!

Projection was the star of the show, and Christie toasted to its longevity with the Sapphire 4K40-RGBH - the world's first high-brightness projector with hybrid laser illumination - yup, that's all courtesy of Christie, folks! This beauty combines RGB pure laser and dual laser phosphor illumination and works seamlessly with screens of all sorts. Perfect for creating stunning visuals on standard gain screens, silver screen 3D, and rear-screen projection surfaces in both 2D and passive and active 3D, this puppy is the real deal.

We also saw projection mapping, which is a strictly projection-led party trick (can't be done with LED technology, fam), transform some damn stunning displays. At ISE, we witnessed this badass tech used by artist Quayola on the Casa Batlló's facade. Over at the Christie booth, we got a glimpse of a projection-mapped temple-inspired 3D sculpture sporting over 800,000 facets, using two Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser projectors.

Market and Application-Driven Displays

Trade shows have long surpassed the days of simple boxes and rectangular screens on stands. Nope, now we're all about demonstrating how AV technology can integrate into various applications. At ISE 2025, we saw some examples of slick LCD and transparent LED in retail and food and beverage applications.

At Christie's booth, new Jazz Series 1DLP laser projectors were teamed up with Widget Designer to create a fresh, interactive museum-like display with custom content from Him & Her, and sexy design by Faber. Nice, right?

Video Walls (Oh, They Were Everywhere)

LED video walls continued to dominate booths all over the show floor. From flat and curved to the freakin' gargantuan, there was a video wall for every occasion and budget.

Attendees at the Christie booth got a peek at a slightly different take on things. A multi-pixel pitch MicroTiles LED display flaunted four different pixel pitches, from 0.75mm to 1.5mm, all in one display. Talk about variety! The Core Series III LED video wall also made an appearance, promising the kind of performance, energy efficiency, and value usually reserved for the upper echelons of the market. Plus, it's 30% lighter than its predecessor, meaning it's easier to handle than your ex's baggage.

Immersive and Interactive Experiences

Say hello to the future! Immersion and interactivity were all the rage at ISE, and we got a taster at Christie's partnership with Augmenta. Their immersive room featured interactive content on the walls and floor, with content management courtesy of Pandoras Box Software. Their mission? To prove that immersive experiences aren't just for the big guns - they can be created in modestly-sized spaces with affordable technology.

Tech for Live Events

From rigging gear and trusses to mobile LED video walls, the live events market had no shortage of AV solutions at this year's show. With global revenue for venues and events projected to hit USD $57.2 billion by 2029, according to AVIXA, it's no surprise that new solutions like the Sapphire 4K40-RGBH projector and new multi-screen windowing and processing technology from Christie’s Broadcast and Professional Video group, including the Spyder-S Series, made an appearance.
