Kia EV4 Launches in NZ: 633km Range, 31-Min Fast Charge
Kia New Zealand has launched its latest electric vehicle, the EV4, with a starting price of $63,990. The EV4, a rivian-like electric car, boasts an impressive range and a host of features, as confirmed by Managing Director Todd McDonald.
The EV4 comes in two model configurations: Light 2WD and GT-Line 2WD. Both variants use a large 81.4kWh battery, providing up to 633km of range. They are powered by a 150kW/283Nm electric motor and come with a 29.6-inch panoramic display, Kia's latest suspension technology, Kia Connect functionality, Over The Air updates, and V2L capabilities.
The Light 2WD model includes safety and connectivity features. Meanwhile, the GT-Line 2WD adds luxury features like a Head Up Display and Harmon/Kardon premium sound system, priced at $75,990. The EV4 can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 31 minutes using a DC Ultra Fast charger.
The Kia EV4 electric sedan is now available at local Kia dealerships. With its industry-leading range and comprehensive features, it's set to make a significant impact in the electric cars market. Todd McDonald, Kia New Zealand's Managing Director, expressed excitement about the EV4's launch, highlighting its commitment to electric vehicles.
