Kwara State Empowers 200 Youths with AI Skills
Kwara State has empowered 200 young minds with artificial intelligence skills. The training, a collaboration between the state government and Digital Equity Africa, focused on creating problem solvers, not just consumers, of digital technology.
The Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Association of Nigeria (AIRAN) joined forces with the initiative. The students, selected from both public and private primary and junior secondary schools across the state, were taught to apply AI to everyday challenges.
The Managing Director of Ilorin Innovation Hub, Mr Temi Kolawole, commended the pupils' creativity and expressed confidence in their potential to drive digital innovation. One participant, Abdulkareem Khadijat, thanked the state government and Digital Equity Africa for providing the opportunity to learn digital skills and become AI-compliant.
The training, which equipped 200 Kwara State students with AI skills, aims to foster a generation of digital creators and problem solvers. The collaboration between the state government, Digital Equity Africa, and AIRAN reflects a commitment to shaping young minds for the digital future.
