Latest advancements in FreeSpeak Wireless family to be showcased by Clear-Com at IBC2025 exhibition
At this year's International Broadcasting Convention (IBC2025), Clear-Com will unveil a host of new features and enhancements across its wireless communication solutions. The event, taking place from September 12-15, will provide a platform for industry professionals to witness the latest advancements in Clear-Com's FreeSpeak wireless family, Arcadia Central Station, and virtual intercom portfolio.
FreeSpeak Wireless Family
The new FreeSpeak Icon beltpack, operating on the 1.9 GHz DECT band, promises robust wireless performance suitable for fast-paced broadcast environments. Equipped with nine programmable buttons, four-channel volume controls, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, the beltpack seamlessly integrates with Arcadia and Eclipse HX systems, catering to large-scale production teams with clear and efficient communication.
Arcadia Central Station
The Arcadia Central Station, Clear-Com's IP-based intercom powerhouse for hybrid wired and wireless deployments, will also be on display. The updated firmware now supports up to 32 V-Series IrisX panels, increasing system capacity and control. Dynamic reallocation of I.V. Port resources allows for flexible configuration, addressing specific channel needs and enhancing interconnectivity.
As an IP-based intercom hub, Arcadia enables seamless integration across Clear-Com and third-party Dante/AES67 devices, ensuring broad compatibility.
Virtual Intercom Portfolio
Clear-Com’s virtual intercom suite, including Gen-IC, Agent-IC, and Station-IC, will also be featured at IBC2025. Gen-IC will exhibit new integration options and expanded functionalities, while the EHX v14 software release will be demonstrated, simplifying configuration and enhancing IP communication.
