Louis Vuitton UK Data Breach: Customer Info Compromised
Louis Vuitton UK has suffered a data breach, with hackers gaining access to customer information. The incident, which occurred on July 2nd, is the third cyberattack against LVMH in recent months.
The stolen data includes names, contact details, and purchase history, but crucially, no financial data was compromised. This breach follows similar incidents affecting Louis Vuitton Korea and Christian Dior Couture, also part of the LVMH group.
The UK's National Crime Agency has recently arrested four individuals in connection with cyberattacks against retailers. However, the search for those responsible for the Louis Vuitton UK breach continues, as no information about the hackers has been provided yet. Other British retailers, including Marks and Spencer, Co-op Group, and Harrods, have also been targeted by cybercriminals in recent times.
Louis Vuitton UK has notified relevant authorities, including the Information Commissioner's Office, following the data breach. The company is working to ensure the security of its customers' data and prevent future incidents.
