Lufthansa Technik Expands Aircraft Nacelle MRO Services with Collins Aerospace
Lufthansa Technik has expanded its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for aircraft nacelles, thanks to a decade-long partnership with Collins Aerospace. This collaboration has enabled Lufthansa Technik to offer advanced repairs and modifications, as well as on-site support for urgent situations.
The partnership began in 2013 with a license agreement for Boeing 787 nacelle maintenance. Since then, Lufthansa Technik has successfully completed over 100 MRO events for these nacelles. The company offers these services through workshops in Hamburg, Shenzhen, and Dubai. The collaboration has not only led to technical advancements but also optimized services for airlines. Lufthansa Technik now provides MRO services for nacelles of the Airbus A350 and A320neo, further expanding its offerings. The partnership has also enabled Lufthansa Technik to provide high-tech repairs and modifications, as well as on-site repairs for AOG situations.
