Watches of Switzerland Opens Luxurious Showroom in East London
The Watches of Switzerland Group, a leading luxury watch retailer, has expanded its presence in London with the opening of a new showroom at 100 Liverpool Street, Broadgate. This marks a significant return to the east end of the city, where the company first began trading in 1924.
Spanning over 530m2, the Watches of Switzerland City showroom is expertly curated with an extensive collection of luxury timepieces, spread across two floors. The ground floor houses eight beautifully appointed branded areas from partners including Audemars Piguet, Tudor, Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Hublot, and Breitling. On the first floor, Rolex takes centre stage with a commanding 56m2 showroom, boasting a double-storey window elevation overlooking Broadgate Circle.
Cartier occupies a pop-up space on the first floor, showcasing their timepieces in an exclusive exhibition space. Additionally, an OMEGA Boutique, spanning 37m2, stocks an exceptional range of timepieces alongside the main showroom.
Mappin & Webb, a prestigious brand under the Watches of Switzerland Group, holds Royal warrants as goldsmiths, silversmiths, and jeweller to Her Majesty The Queen, and silversmiths to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Mappin & Webb has been the Crown Jeweller and custodian of the Crown Jewels of Her Majesty The Queen since 2012.
The new showroom is located within the 32-acre central London site of the visionary new development at the edge of Broadgate Circle. The First Floor of the showroom includes a luxurious private lounge and hospitality space, ensuring client comfort remains paramount.
The Watches of Switzerland Group is the UK's largest retailer for Rolex, Cartier, OMEGA, TAG Heuer, and Breitlin watches. The company operates five transactional websites and has a leading presence in Heathrow Airport with representation in Terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5.
In terms of infrastructure, the latest Watches of Switzerland showroom was fitted with a Permaflor Heavy Grade corner lock raised access flooring system, supplied by London Raised Floors. London Raised Floors is one of the capital's largest installation companies of raised flooring and specializes in various flooring solutions, including raised access flooring, external terrace flooring, stone bonded raised flooring, waterproof tanking and bunding, and magnetic backed engineered timber.
The 'By Personal Appointment' service is available at the new showroom, ensuring a more intimate and exclusive shopping experience for clients. Although the name of the General Manager of the Watches of Switzerland Group at 100 Liverpool Street, Broadgate, is not currently available, the company operates in both the UK and US, with a total of 135 core stores across the two countries, including 22 dedicated mono-brand stores.
