Media Library Update: Introducing 'Sort By' Image Search Enhancement
A new update to the Media Library introduces a 'Sort By' feature, enhancing image search functionality. This tool allows users to sort images based on relevance, newest, or oldest uploads, complementing existing filters.
The 'Sort By' option activates once a keyword is entered in the search field. It offers three sorting criteria:
- 'Relevance' sorts images based on full or partial captions, alt text, initial filename, or full or partial credit name. This feature works alongside available filters in the Media Library and Entry Editor, improving search precision and efficiency.
- 'Newest' prioritizes recently uploaded images that match the search term.
- 'Oldest' displays images uploaded earlier in the library that match the search term.
The 'Sort By' option is now available in the Media Library, providing users with more control over search results. It complements existing search functionality and filters, making it easier to find specific images.
