Microsoft Unveils New Premium Subscription Plan With Advanced AI Tools
Microsoft has revealed a new subscription tier, Microsoft 365 Premium, combining Microsoft 365 and Copilot Pro features. The plan costs $19.99 monthly and provides access to the Office suite and advanced AI tools with increased usage limits.
Microsoft 365 Personal and Family plans persist, but the new Premium tier introduces early access to innovative features like Office Agent and Agent Mode. These tools promise expert-quality documents and presentations. The plan also includes powerful reasoning agents like Researcher and Analyst, previously exclusive to business clients.
Copilot integration expands to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook desktop apps. Each user receives 1 TB of secure cloud storage and Microsoft Defender's advanced security. Moreover, Microsoft is updating all Office app icons with new, rounder designs, to be rolled out to all subscribers in the coming weeks.
