MuT-Partner Project Boosts Digital Skills for Bavarian Seniors
The 'MuT-Partner' project, aimed at bolstering digital competence among older residents, is set to host a series of Q&A sessions in several Bavarian municipalities this quarter. The free sessions, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Work and Social Affairs, will cover the use of tablets and mobile phones. Sessions are planned for October 20, November 10, and December 8, 2025, in Hemau. Other municipalities hosting these low-threshold training offers include Wörth a.d. Donau (October 13, November 3, December 1), Neutraubling (October 15, November 5, December 3), Obertraubling (October 16, November 6, December 4), and Regenstauf (October 22, November 12, December 10). Each session will last 90 minutes, focusing on the use of tablets and mobile phones, and their software. The 'MuT-Partner' project, part of the Bavarian Digital Initiative MuT 60+, is dedicated to strengthening seniors' digital skills through such Q&A sessions at 80 local contact points across 18 counties in Bavaria. The 'MuT-Partner' project, running through 2025, offers a valuable opportunity for seniors to enhance their digital media use skills free of charge. With sessions scheduled in multiple municipalities, it aims to make digital competence accessible to a wider range of older residents in Bavaria.
