Urban Cowboy Bar in Nashville Equips State-of-the-Art Audio System with LEA Professional's Connect Series Amplifiers

In the heart of Nashville's historic Arcade, the Urban Cowboy Bar, a multi-level venue that caters to various moods and personalities, recently opened its doors in April 2025. The bar, spanning over 8,000 square feet, offers a blend of immersive design and dynamic atmosphere.

The audio system for the Urban Cowboy Bar was designed by Joseph Hazelwood, founder of Hazelwood Laboratories, who was contacted for the project due to his expertise in audio installations. The system required capabilities for DJs, Apple AirPlay, house music, and local zone control in each area.

To meet these requirements, Hazelwood installed LEA Professional's Connect Series amplifiers. These commercial-grade amplifiers offer versatile connectivity options and advanced remote management, supporting multiple music zones with ease.

The Connect Series amplifiers feature HiZ and LoZ selectable analog inputs, Dante digital audio inputs, and external I/O for remote on/off and fault monitoring. They also provide three ways to connect: a built-in Wi-Fi access point, connection to the venue's Wi-Fi, or FAST Ethernet via Cat5/Cat6 cable. Cloud connectivity enables users to remotely control, monitor, and configure the amps from any personal device, even if the local network is down.

Hazelwood installed four types of Connect Series amplifiers: the CS704, CS354, CS124, and CS64. The IoT-enabled 4-channel CS704 provides 700 watts per channel, while the 4-channel CS354 offers 350 watts per channel. The smaller Connect Series 124 delivers 120 watts per channel, and the Connect Series 64 offers 60 watts per channel. All models support Hi-Z (70V or 100V) and Lo-Z selectable by channel and feature Smart Power Bridge technology.

With these amplifiers, AV teams can remotely control and monitor the amplifiers, including half-rack models, from any location and at any time, free of charge. Hazelwood expressed enthusiasm for the LEA amplifiers, stating that they were the perfect choice for the Urban Cowboy Bar and looking forward to using them again on his next install.

The Urban Cowboy Bar's grand opening event in May 2025 was a success, featuring live music, DJs, tattoo artists, stilt walkers, and interactive photo ops. The audio system, powered by LEA Professional's Connect Series amplifiers, ensured consistent sound quality across different areas and music styles, contributing to the overall success of the event.

In summary, the key features and benefits of the LEA Connect Series amplifiers include multi-mode inputs for varied source compatibility, flexible network connectivity facilitating easy integration and control, cloud-based remote control and monitoring, high power output suitable for small to medium commercial installations, and support for multiple zones. These capabilities provide a robust and scalable audio solution tailored to the Urban Cowboy Bar's complex acoustical and zoning requirements.
