New Blockchain Developed by ATMTA: Zink – Offers Anonymous SVM Layer-1 With Encrypted Player Profiles

The gaming world is abuzz with the introduction of Zink, a new Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) layer-1 blockchain, unveiled by development studio ATMTA on August 13, 2025. This groundbreaking blockchain is set to revolutionize the Star Atlas game ecosystem and pave the way for a secure, scalable, and identity-centric environment optimized for gaming and decentralized applications.

Scheduled for mainnet genesis in December 2025, Zink promises to deliver a high-performance, cost-efficient solution for fast, scalable, and low-cost transactions - a necessity for gaming and other decentralized applications.

One of Zink's key features is its patent-pending zero-knowledge on-chain profile system, known as the zProfile. This innovative system offers secure, user-controlled global permission settings across connected apps, enabling automation of transaction approvals and protecting critical assets without the need for frequent manual permissions.

The ZINK token serves as the backbone of the Zink ecosystem, powering transactions, staking, consensus, and rewards for validators and users, thereby fostering the blockchain economy that supports Star Atlas and encourages participation.

Starting in September 2025, players will begin earning experience points (XP) integrated with Star Atlas gameplay and other connected games. As we approach December 2025, the Zink mainnet genesis will mark the transition of the Star Atlas game to run entirely on the Zink blockchain. In recognition of early supporters, a substantial crypto airdrop (10% of ZINK tokens) is planned for December to incentivize ecosystem growth.

Initially launched as a permissioned chain, Zink aims to achieve full decentralization within 18–24 months through iterative upgrades, enhancing scalability and customizability beyond what was possible relying solely on the Solana mainnet.

Beyond supporting Star Atlas, ATMTA envisions Zink as a "generalist consumer blockchain," inviting other crypto gaming projects to build on it, leveraging its identity and scalability features. In essence, Zink's purpose is to create an environment that fosters secure, scalable, and identity-centric gaming experiences, essential for the evolving ecosystem and user engagement model of Star Atlas and other decentralized applications.

Michael Wagner, CEO and founder of ATMTA, views Zink as a substantial investment in on-chain infrastructure that emphasizes digital identity. With Zink, ATMTA aims to broaden its technological capabilities and provide infrastructure for general-purpose decentralized applications as well as gaming.

In Las Vegas, Nevada, at 12:00 p.m. PST, the gaming world took a significant leap forward with the unveiling of Zink. This stand-alone layer-1 network, optimized for high throughput, low transaction costs, and interoperability with other Web3 systems, is set to redefine the future of gaming and decentralized applications.
