The Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 SE, a special edition of the popular over-ear headphones, has been unveiled, boasting significant audio improvements and additional features.
The Melomania P100 SE headphones are powered by the same Class AB amplification used in Cambridge's CX series Hi-Fi amplifiers, ensuring a high-quality audio experience. The key improvements in the P100 SE include enhanced sound tuning for a more powerful and immersive playback, with weightier bass and refined dynamics, achieved by retuning the same drivers.
One of the standout features of the P100 SE is Cambridge Audio's proprietary DynamEQ technology. This technology monitors the audio and subtly optimises it to deliver a consistent experience across the volume curve, ensuring balanced sound even at lower volumes.
The P100 SE also supports aptX Lossless for CD-quality wireless streaming and features a re-engineered headband with increased cushioning for improved comfort. The Melomania Connect app has also been revamped, offering more EQ presets and refined manual equalizer controls.
