While the console itself has maintained its launch price, selected Switch 2 accessories, as well as some original Switch accessories and amiibos, have experienced price increases. These adjustments came into effect from August 3, 2025, with Nintendo citing "market conditions" as the reason [1][3]. The exact new prices for these accessories have not been officially disclosed by Nintendo.
