Oris Introduces Divers Date: Modern Dive Watch with Enhanced Specs

Oris has introduced the Divers Date, a modern successor to the Divers Sixty-Five. The new model boasts an updated design and enhanced specifications, while retaining a similar price point.

The Divers Date offers improved water resistance, rated at 200m, surpassing the 100m capability of its predecessor. It is available with a choice of a black Tropic-style strap or a stainless steel bracelet, and features a ceramic bezel with a classic diving design.

Powered by the Oris in-house Caliber 733 automatic movement, based on the Sellita SW201, the Divers Date maintains a competitive edge. It measures 39mm in diameter, slotting between the 40mm and 38mm sizes of the Divers Sixty-Five, and is slightly slimmer at 12.1mm thick with a lug-to-lug distance of 46.5mm.

While the Divers Sixty-Five has been discontinued, some Oris watch models remain in stock, such as the Oris Aquis Date Diver in steel with a rubber strap, offered as new on resale platforms.

The Oris Divers Date, priced at $2,700, is a significant update to the Divers Sixty-Five line. With enhanced water resistance, a ceramic bezel, and a modern movement, it offers a compelling option in the dive watch segment. The Divers Date is not a limited edition and is expected to be a permanent addition to Oris's collection.
