Over the forthcoming weeks, Deadlock is scheduled to release six fresh heroes in a staggered manner, and grants the liberty to players to determine the order of their arrival.

Over the course of the next few weeks, Deadlock is set to release six new characters, allowing gamers to influence the order of their arrival.

In a thrilling turn of events, the popular MOBA game Deadlock is shaking up its roster and user interface with the introduction of six new heroes and a revamped dashboard.

The first of these new characters, Mina, a vampire-themed hero, is set to make her debut on August 18. Mina, often referred to as a "glass cannon," delivers quick bursts of Spirit damage at range with her passive, Love Bites. Her main ability, Rake, hits enemies with her umbrella, building up a passive called Love Bites. This passive procs over time to steal HP from enemies and then enters a cooldown. Mina's ultimate ability, Nox Nostra, unleashes a massive swarm of bats that hunt down and silence nearby enemies.

Mina's arrival marks the start of a drip-feed release of new heroes, with one hero dropping on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday both this week and next. The community gets to decide which heroes are introduced to Deadlock, as players vote after each completed game for who they want to be unlocked next.

The other five new heroes include demonic goat Billy, bookworm Paige, The Doorman, Victor "the monster who can't be stopped," and a red-eyed lad called Drifter. Details about their abilities are yet to be fully disclosed, but Valve has promised balance adjustments for each Deadlock hero a few days after each one's release.

The character select screen has also been updated to resemble a fighting game, and visual updates have been made to existing Deadlock heroes, with more updates expected in the future.

In addition to the hero updates, Deadlock has given its dashboard a significant overhaul. The Deadlock dashboard UI has been replaced with the Hideout, a cosy lobby space with a training area and menu options spread out into different areas. Valve plans to allow players to customize the Hideout space in the future.

Deadlock was initially unleashed in an invite-only form last August by its developer. The game is now under development by the community alongside the developer, creating a unique and engaging gaming experience for players.

This week, Deadlock received a major update, including the overhaul of the dashboard and character select screen. Valve has also released art for each of the new heroes. The update aims to diversify playstyles and shake up the meta in Deadlock.

For those who have yet to experience Deadlock, this latest update promises an exciting new chapter in the game's development. Stay tuned for more updates on these new heroes and the ongoing evolution of Deadlock.
