Philips Delivers Integrated Conference and Signage Systems at the Latest Hotel via 800 Displays, Offering a Collaborative Experience
The Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport, strategically located near Vantaa Airport's main terminal, has undergone a significant technology transformation. PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, led the installation of over 800 Philips displays, enhancing the hotel's guestroom entertainment and business conferencing capabilities.
The comprehensive installation included more than 770 Google Cast integrated Philips MediaSuite 6214 UHD TVs in the 505 luxury guest rooms and suites. These TVs, available in 50, 65, and 75-inch sizes, were strategically selected and positioned to cater to the specific sizes and layouts of the rooms.
For conferencing and meetings, a 135-inch Philips Unite LED All-In-One display was deployed, and three Philips Public 7000 Series LED walls were custom installed in the 21-room conference center. These LED walls were mounted using custom systems designed by Smart Media Solutions, integrating a wooden slatted design to blend seamlessly with the room's aesthetic.
Digital signage was also incorporated for wayfinding and information purposes, featuring 88 and 75-inch Philips Signage 3000 Series Q-Line displays and 98-inch Philips Signage 4000 Series Modular D-Line displays.
The hotel's audiovisual technology is managed through an integrated system provided by Audico Systems, ensuring streamlined operation across the hotel's extensive technology infrastructure. The project was completed on time and within budget, ready ahead of the hotel's grand opening.
The Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport offers a range of amenities, including a rooftop cocktail bar, an à la carte restaurant, a gym, a heated outdoor pool, and a 1,050 capacity ballroom. This multi-purpose facility is designed as a premium destination for both travellers and business events.
The collaboration among PPDS, Speeron, Smart Media Solutions, and Audico Systems was instrumental in delivering a seamless, advanced digital experience for guests and business users at the hotel. This technology integration significantly boosts the hotel's position as one of the most advanced business hotel complexes in Finland.
