Martin Dommer Appointed as New Head of Press and Communications at VDDI
Martin Dommer has been appointed as the new Head of Press and Communications at the VDDI (Association of German Dental Industry). With a solid background in communications and media relations, Dommer is expected to lead the press and communications team, strengthening the organization’s media presence and ensuring effective communication with the public and stakeholders.
Dommer’s career in communications began in 2014 when he joined the City of Cologne. He held various positions, including roles in the Office of the Mayor and the Department of Integration and Diversity. Prior to joining the VDDI, Dommer served as press spokesperson for the Social Affairs Department of the City of Cologne. He also worked as press spokesperson for the German Adult Education Association.
Before his appointment at VDDI, Dommer held the position of Head of Press, PR and Communications in an unspecified organization since 2024. Now, he reports directly to Markus Heibach, who holds a position at the VDDI. Agnes Plümer, who was previously the Head of Press and Communications at the VDDI, has been succeeded by Dommer.
