Preview of Skoda Vision O Concept reveals electric versions of upcoming Octavia and Superb Wagon models

Skoda Auto is set to debut a new concept at the IAA Mobility event in Munich, Germany, in September 2025. The Vision O Concept, as it's called, previews a future electric Octavia Estate.

According to Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, the Vision O design study will showcase the future of estate models under the influence of new technologies, sustainability, and Škoda Auto's deep experience in this segment. The concept is expected to be a single model electric Estate offering, catering to both Octavia and Superb Estate buyers.

The Vision O Concept features a familiar Skoda Estate shape with a steeply raked windscreen and gently sloping roof. This design is reminiscent of the brand's traditional estates, but with a modern, electric twist.

The premiere of the Vision O Concept marks Skoda's intent to deliver estates in an EV age. The subsequent production model, which is anticipated to be built on the new VW Group SSP Platform, is expected to launch in 2027 or 2028. This same platform will also be used on the next-generation electric VW Golf.

Meanwhile, the new Skoda Octavia was revealed back in November as Skoda's take on the new VW Golf Mk8. Recently, the new Skoda Octavia vRS, featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain, is being teased ahead of a Geneva debut.

The Vision O Concept is being teased again, ahead of its debut at the Munich Motor Show in September. Auto enthusiasts and industry professionals alike are eagerly awaiting the unveiling of this innovative electric estate concept.
